Quality Foreign Car Service Inc. has a long history of taking good care of the import and foreign cars in the Berkley, Michigan community.
The original Teddy’s Garage, started the tradition of trusted local mechanics performing good, solid auto repair in this location in 1970. In 1982, the name changed to Quality Foreign Car Service to reflect the specialized import and foreign car services that the shop had come to be known for.
Quality Foreign Car Service Inc. is a family-style operation where each employee is like family. The current President, Wayne Solanskey, has been a Professional Auto Mechanic for over 30 years. His son Chris Solanskey has been part of the operation since 1988. Throughout it’s history, the shop has been handed down from the owner to a former employee for a total of only three owners in the past 40 years.
